Gunmen have staged a comeback to Osun State, this time, two travellers were abducted at Wasimi area along Ife-Ilesha-Ibadan Expressway in Ayedire on Saturday evening.

It was gathered the two travellers were accosted while they were on thier way from Ile-Ife to Ibadan.
The gunmen waylaid them and took them into a nearby bush.
A security source revealed they have arrested three of the perpetrators and efforts were on to arrest others.

When contacted, the spokesperson of Osun State Police Command, Mrs Yemisi Opalola confirmed the incident.
She noted the police have rescued the two abducted victims.
She said: “We deployed our men to the scene of the crime after a distress call and we rescued two victims and arrested three suspects.”
It would be recalled that kidnappers killed one traveller while others were abducted last week along Ibokun-Osogbo High way in Osun.
