The Osun State Chapter of Online Media Practitioners Association of Nigeria (OMPAN) has congratulated Mr Wale Ojo Lanre on his appointment as the Director General, Council of Arts and Culture to Ekiti State Government under the leadership of the governor of the state, Dr. Kayode Fayemi.
In a statement released and signed on behalf of members of the association by the Acting coordinator of OMPAN, Osun State Chapter, Adesoji Omosebi thanked and commended the governor for putting more journalists, the likes of Samuel Oluwalana of Daily Independent and others for appointments into his cabinet.

Adesoji described Wale Ojo Lanre’s appointment as one of the best decisions of the new administration in redefining the purpose and values of tourism in the state.
Wale Ojo Lanre is a journalist of great repute whose contributions to the promotion of culture and tourism over the years are justifications that he is truly fit and capable of discharging and performing brilliantly in his new office.
“We have full confidence in his ability to influence, create a new roadmap and possibly change the dynamism of culture and tourism sector of the state and make it more efficient.

The association also urged the newly appointed Director-General of culture and tourism, Samuel Oluwalana and others to remain diligent and continue to work towards the growth of their respective offices and the development of the state at large.
