OSUN: OYETOLA Accuses Governor Adeleke Of Desecration Of Ancient Tradition, Commends IleriOluwa Next Level Progressive Movement (INLPM)

THE National Coordinator of the Ileri Oluwa Next Level Progressive Movement (INLPM), Chief Owoeye Samuel Abiodun (OSA), has appealed to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to approve more funds to local governments in Nigeria with a view to enhancing the development of the grassroots.

 

Besides, Owoeye enjoined the President to create special funds for local governments in the country for the construction of at least,20 kilometers of roads to ease the pains of the rural dwellers.

 

The National Coordinator of INLPM who made the calls on Monday in Osogbo during the body’s annual interdenominational prayer, equally urged the nation’s helmsman to create more jobs so as to reduce costs of foodstuffs and to make life more comfortable to citizens.

 

The issue of the mismanagement of the palliatives given to states that did not reach the beneficiaries is a thing of concern to well meaning Nigerians. To this effect, one of the best way of reaching the people at the grassroots, is ensuring that their lots are bettered through the provision of amenities” he said.

Owoeye used the occasion to affirm the loyalty of the Ileri Oluwa All Progressive Movement, INLPM, to the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Osun and at the national level.

 

Professor Ifemidayo Akinmoladun commended the INLPM for a job well-done and urged the movement to give their maximum support to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Alhaji Adegboyega Oyetola, to enable him achieve tremendous success that could help to lift Nigeria to a higher pedestal and for the restoration of the country lost glory.

 

The former Governor of Osun State and Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Alhaji Adegboyega Oyetola, was represented by Hon. Oluomo Sunday Akere.

 

Akere said his Principal was delighted with the members of Next Level Movement for their courage and steadfastness in raising the banner of the progressives in Osun State to the next level.

Akere said the incumbent Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke has desecrated the culture of selection of our royal fathers by sacking those who had already passed through all selection processes of their communities.

 

He decried the governor’s action as being politically motivated which he insisted could not stand, citing the case of Owa of Igbajo, Oba Famodun whose selection process spanned over 200 days before his coronation as Oba, yet Adeleke sacked him.

 

Akere called on well meaning Nigerians to intervene on looming crisis about to befall the state as a result of self centeredness of the governor.

 

The event which was carnival-like saw members of the Movement dancing and praising God for his protection and guidance as they called on God to bring back the glory of Nigeria through the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,

and for God to put an end to incessant bloodshed and hardships in Nigeria”
