OSUN Police arrests 14 suspected terrorists in Osun

THE Osun State Police Command on Monday said it arrested 14 suspected terrorists in Ajebandele area of Ile-Ife, Osun State.

The arrest was made possible by vigilant residents who alerted the security agents including Amotekun and other security agents.

In a Press Release by the Osun State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Yemisi Opalola available to SOJ WORLDWIDE, said,

  “a truck was conveying some suspected persons from the Northern part of the country to the State. The suspected truck was intercepted by Oke Odo Policemen, and while search was conducted , 14 men who could not give reasonable purpose of their coming to the state were arrested.”

“Twelve suspected stolen Motorcycles recovered.

“Meanwhile, suspects and exhibits were later handed over to State CID for discreet investigation/profiling.”
