Osun Police Command recovers 39 stolen vehicles – Come and claim your stolen cars

The gallant police officers in Osun State have recovered 39 stolen vehicles between January and February 2018 from suspected armed robbers.
The state Commissioner of Police, Mr Fimihan Adeoye made this disclosure on Monday while briefing journalists at the headquarters of the Police command, located around Ring Road area of Osogbo, the state capital.

He disclosed that his command had earlier in January recovered 19 stolen vehicles from armed robbery syndicate, whose members were arrested in Osun, Oyo, Ondo, Delta and other states.
While explaining that another 20 stolen vehicles were recovered in February from the same gang of armed robbers, Adeoye added that number plates of the recovered vehicles have been removed by the criminals, saying the total number of cars retrieved from the men of the underworld was now 39.

According to him, “I want to let you know those Police detectives are not relenting on their efforts. We have recovered another 20 vehicles stolen by gangs that we paraded for stealing 19 vehicles on January 30. We discovered that some of the vehicles were snatched at gun points. We have prepared the details of the vehicles for the owners to come and claim them”.
Adeoye, however, commended men and officers of the Special Anti Robbery Squad for their hard work and dedication to duties, saying their diligent efforts had gone a long way in checkmating the illicit activities of armed robbers in the state.

He added that eight persons have come with claims of ownership of some of the retrieved vehicles, most of which, he said were Toyota Camry cars, just as he urged other individuals, who had hitherto lost their vehicles to armed robbers or through any other means to come to the Police headquarters with adequate proofs.
