Osun State Police Command on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 paraded suspected criminals who went on robbery spree at Ilesha killing a man and stole phone accessories worth N11,880,000.

The suspects are, Saheed Lukman (35) and Adeolu Adeniyi (24).
Police recovered
(i) ONE EXPANDED AK47 AMMUNITION
(ii) ONE NIGERIAN ARMY I.D CARD
(iii) ONE EMPTY CATRIDGE
(iv) ONE DAGGER
The suspects were said to belong to a secret cult.
“On 10th June 2021, at about 2200hrs, the two suspects conspired among themselves and broke into a phone-accessories shop of one Ekundare Temitope ‘m’ at Conoil Filling station area round-about, Ilesa and stole away his handsets valued about #11,880, 000.00.
Two suspects were arrested and confessed to be a member of Eiye Confratanity.

Meanwhile, in the course of searching the house of the suspects, one empty AK47 ammunition shell and empty catridge together with one Nigeria Army I.D card with other incriminating items were recovered in their possession.
They are also suspected to have killed one man whose identity is unknown but suspected to be a rival cult group member. Investigation is still ongoing while the suspect will be charged to court at the completion of the investigations.”

In another development Police Team on parade recovered a White Honda Saloon Car where the owners abandoned it on sighting the police they escaped into the bush. The car was among the exhibits paraded at the Command Headqarters, Osogbo.
According to the Commissioner of Police, CP Olawale Olokode, the owner of the car is yet to come forward to claim ownership of the car.
