SOJ WORLDWIDE gathered from the community landlords that since HazanaCity Estate commenced work at its site there have been move by the developer to deny the four communities from accessing a road linking to the State Secretariat, Abere.
In their different interviews with SOJ WORLDWIDE they disclosed that over the years before HazanaCity Estate secured its portion of land the road has been in use for motorists and foot-walkers moving to Abere and the state capital, Osogbo.
According to a resident who simply identified himself as Mr Israel said “This road should not be closed. It’s functional for more than four Communities Alaro, OkeAyo, Ologun/Atapara Communities and lot more.”
Mr Israel who noted that closing the road at a period when Nigerians are battling with fuel price hike would increase more hardship on them saying “If this road is closed now I think there is no any other faster road to link to Osogbo again in a time like this fuel crises.”
He called on Governor Adeleke to come to their rescue by mediating into move of HazanaCity to close the road.
Another resident, Mrs Ibukun Hazan, told SOJ WORLDWIDE that they have written official letters to the Speaker of Osun State House of Assembly, Rt.Hon. Adewale Egbedun and Chief of Staff to the Governor, Alhaji Kazeem Akinleye to stop HazanaCity Estate developer’s move.
Mrs Hazan lamented that their letters until the time of filing this report has not been acted upon, however, urged the governor to come to their aid.
