Osun State former Military Administrator, Anthony Obi dies

Former Military Administrator of Abia and Osun states, Colonel Anthony Uzoma Obi (rtd.) is dead.

A statement issued by Okenwa Aneke on behalf of the family said Obi died on Saturday, January 1, 2022 at 6:03p.m, adding:

“Our father was a lion, a warrior, a brave soldier, who served Nigeria as Governor of Osun State and Abia State.”

The statement described the deceased as a loving husband, a devoted father, who instilled love, discipline and humility in all he did during his time on earth.

He shared with us love deeply portrayed throughout his lifetime and most importantly, he was the bravest man we ever knew. We only ask for prayers and goodwill for our family in this time of grief and trying moment,” the statement added.
