The Special Adviser to the Governor on Innovation, Science and Technology, Engineer Muyideen Olateju stated this in a speech delivered at the world ICT day organised by Elerinmosa Resource Hub in Erin-Osun.
According to Engineer Olateju, the establishment of an ICT in the state justifies the huge investment of the current administration on ICT and recently an American company that paid a courtesy call on Governor Aregbesola has the intention of creating nine E-learning centres in the state as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility.
The Special Adviser therefore called on the youth in the state including members of the NYSC to embrace all innovations brought by this administration by engaging in self-employed training or other legal trades to sustain themselves and that they should not rely on white-collar jobs which are no more easy to come by.
He said very soon, technology will transform the whole system because machines would be doing most things and many people will be left jobless.
