A suspected ritualist, Semiu Oyewo (38) arrested with other 12 others by the Osun State Police Command has confessed to SOJ WORLDWIDE ONLINE NEWS http://www.sojworldnews.com what he planned to do with human head he was arrested with along Ife-Ibadan Highway.

He told our reporter upon interrogation that a friend from Apomu in OSUN State who is now at large sold the human head to him at N25,000 after negotiations, he paid N20,000 remaining N5,000 as outstanding balance.
According to Oyewo, he never knew he it was an offence,
“I inherited this work of Herbalist from my father who had died, my mother is still alive.”

When asked if the client whom he wanted to use the head for is aware that he has been arrested, he said no.
He said the man who sold the head to him was a Bricklayer who get the head for him where he went to dig the foundation of a house in Apomu area.

“I asked him I wanted to do a concoction for a client who had a migraine, I told him I needed a human head, he responded that anytime he is to go for bricklaying he would get it.”
“He promised to get it for me, he later called me when he found one.”
When asked how he was arrested, he said he was arrested when he was going to Ile-Ife because he lived in Ife, that was when he was arrested.

“This was my first time of buying a human head, I never thought it was an offence, I just dropped the skull in the car because it was a dry head. I didn’t know I have committed a crime of this magnitude.”
When asked what other things was found in his house, he pointed at the idols and herbalist accounts he inherited from his late father.
He insisted that that was his first time and that he only wanted to use it for the healing of migraine. He narrated other things he needed to add to it before it can be used to heal any sickness.
