The Osun Tourism Stakeholders Association (OSTOURSA) executives paid a courtesy visit to the Commissioner of Culture and Tourism, Dr Adebisi Obawale in his office at Abere, the state of the State of Osun.

The spokesperson of the association, Queen Fisayo Aderemi congratulated Dr Adebisi Obawale on his new appointment as the Commissioner for Culture and Tourism in the State of Osun and appreciated his cooperation and assistance to the association.

Mr. Ismail who tabled the association objectives told Dr Obawale of the association’s plan to support the state especially on new innovations to generate income for the state by using every available opportunities in major tourist centres across the state to grow tourism.

Apart from the discoveries made, Ismail said the association and the state should reorient, revitalize, create awareness and publicity to put tourism on the front burner in the state.

The Hon Commissioner admonished the association that bringing  tourists to the state should be their paramount objective as he urged them to get better organized and creative to drive tourism in Osun

He made his intention of registering every tourism related individuals or associations to have proper documentation.
