THE President-Elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed TINUBU came to Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State to issue stern warnings to the All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship candidate, Senator Teslim Folarin in the State.
Tinubu told Folarin at the campaign rally,.
“For Folarin to become the Governor of Oyo State, he has to go out and beg Party leaders because there is division within the party.
‘Folarin you have to move from house to house to settle differences in the party using your lantern and touchlight because as many as you are here, you are not enough to make Folarin the governor. Go and reconcile with your people and pray very well.”

Whether this instruction was heeded before the election only Folarin can answer but from the final result declared by INEC on Sunday, he lost by wide margin to the incumbent governor of the State, Engr. Seyi Makinde.
