BAMBI Farm partners Osun Government on high quality supply of palm kernels
The vision of the Governor of the State of Osun ,Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola for the creation of Osun Produce Board has begun to yield positive results.
One of the leading Company in Nigeria that depends on palm kernel as a raw materials for the production of palm kernel Oil , BAMBI Farms signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Osun State Government on High Quality palm kernel supply to the Company.
The signing was done at the Conference Hall of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security Osun Government Secretariat, Osogbo.

Speaking on the agreement, the Chairman BAMBI Farms in Ifetedo in Ife South area of Osun State, Prince Ade Ayoola disclosed that the Company decided to partner with Osun Government having realised that was part of the mandate given to the Osun Produce Board.
This is to guarantee Quality and increase quantity of all Agricultural produce in the State which is a very important aspects for the success of the Company..
Prince Ayoola noted that for continue sustainability of the Company there would be need to have access to the right quality and quantity of the needed raw materials (Palm kernel), which has become a major challenges.
Prince Ayoola explained that the creation of Osun Produce Board by Governor Rauf Aregbesola is a pointer to one of the dynamism of Governance introduced by the present Administration. Osun Produce Board is now a Comfort zone to solve mirage of challenges confronting the business.

He further disclosed that Osun been one of the highest producer of palm kernel in the South West would solve about 60% of the Company requirements of 250 Tonnes of Palm Kernel per day.
In his opening remarks, the Executive Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer for Osun Produce Board ,Dr Yemi Adegoke disclosed that the Board would serve as a middle men between the Bambi Company (The Buyer) and the palm kernel Merchants (The Seller) with a mandate to Source for reliable Merchants, guarantee quality, made, payment and ensure timely delivery of require quantity.
Dr Adegoke said that he is optimistic that the arrangement would improve profitability and Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) of the State with ease.
He therefore promised that the State would fulfil its part of the agreement by its commitment to the delivery of 150 Tonnes per week while the first delivery will begin by March of this year.
