The Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria otherwise known as PENGASSAN has this afternoon called off its nationwide strike action expected to start today.
The strike action was suspended in a statement by the PRO of PENGASSAN, Comrade Fortune Obi, in Abuja.
He said the company in contention, Neconde and its Legal Consultants has offered a letter of recall to the sacked employees of the company.

The management of Neconde also agreed to allow the union to exist in the company without molestation.
The suspension of the oil workers’ strike will ease the tension at the fuel stations across the nation.
