The Kano State Police Command has arrested a 17-year-old girl identified as Aisha Kabiru, for allegedly stabbing her 28-year-old neighbour, Bahijja Abubakar, to death in Kumbotso Local Government Area of the state.

In the report, Aisha had a misunderstanding with Bahijja on the 19th of August 2021, and a fight broke out while they were quarrelling. However, other neighbours quickly stopped them fighting.
Later that day, Aisha attacked the victim with a knife and ran away when she saw what she had done, leaving her to bleed to death.

According to the State Police spokesman, DSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, the victim was stabbed at the back of her neck and she died on the 20th of August while receiving treatment at Murtala Mohammed Specialist Hospital Kano. He also revealed that the suspect was tracked to a hideout at Zawaciki Quarters, Kumbotso LGA Kano State, and an arrest was made.
These are the two big mistakes the suspect made that landed her in trouble.
