“They collected a cash of N25,000 from him and forced him to transfer the sum of N3m to the ring leader’s account. They later drove him to a secluded place in his Toyota Camry car and set him and the car ablaze with the aim of covering their evil act.
“I commend the efforts of my men for their prompt action, as they tracked the three down within 72 hours with little information in their disposal. While the leader of the group, Bidemi was arrested in Lagos, both Kayode and Waheed were rounded up in Ondo and Ogun States respectivelyâ€, Adeoye said.

“Baba is my spiritual father, I was in Ikirun on November 26 when he called me to come and rob a man who was passing a night beside the compound he was working as a security guard, and informed me that the man was the only one in the building.
“I called Kayode and Waheed, and we attacked the man around 1 a.m, he did not struggle with us at all, he gave us the N25,000 cash with him, and when we pressurized him further for money, he promised to give us N3m out of the N5m he claimed was in his account; he transferred the money immediately to my account.
“It was Waheed who insisted that we must not leave him alive, so, we put him in the booth of his car and drove him to a secluded place where we set him and the car ablazeâ€, he said.
