Police arrests Senator Melaye’s Doctor, denies Senate delegates from seeing him (PART ONE SCENE THREE)

The police arrested Senator Melaye’s doctor as the last may not have been heard yet on the Senator Dino Melaye and the Nigeria Police Force drama saga. Report had it that the embatled senator was in a state of coma with a spinal cord injury. We have not been able to confirm this information as at the time of posting this news.

Operatives of Special Anti Robbery Squad have stopped the delegation of the Senate from seeing Senator Dino Melaye who is receiving medical attention at the National Trauma Centre unit of the National Hospital, Abuja.
Senators on the delegation are the deputy Senate leader, Bala Ibn’Nallah, Francis Alimekhena, Emmanuel Bwacha.
The National Trauma Unit of the hospital was heavily guarded by stern looking operatives of SARS.
The leader of SARS was identified as O. F. Onche who insisted that Senators cannot see Dino Melaye which according to him, was an order from above.
“Senator Bala Na’Allah: We are Senators and we are here to see Senator Dino.”

“SARS leader: I know you. You cannot see him now. It is an instruction.”
“Bala Na’Allah: Instructions from above?”
SARS leader: I said it is an instruction, may be you can see the medical director..”
The delegation left without seeing Dino.
Meanwhile, on their way back to the National Assembly, another senator intervened and they were called back.
Senator Dino Melaye has been handcuffed on his hospital bed by the Nigeria police after he was re-arrested at Zankli hospital, Mabushi in Abuja.
Melaye who was alleged to have jumped off the moving police vehicle enroute Lokoja was admitted at Zankli hospital when an ambulance brought him and was wheeled on a stretcher into the emergence ward of the hospital.

Few hours later, over 30 armed policemen led by the Police Force Public Relations Officer, PFPRO, Jimoh Moshood surrounded the premises of the hospital to effect his arrest.
He was later moved to the National hospital where he is recuperating.
According to Independent, the doctor who treated the Senator at the Zankli hospital has been arrested.
The report said that the doctor claimed that the senator sustained spinal cord injury.
