INDIGENES of Mbaise in Imo State residents in Texas in the United States reportedly paid the sum of $95,000 to hold a convention to raise funds for the development of their town in Imo State, the management of the hall allegedly invited the Police who came to shut down the event at the middle of the ceremony.
A man was heard in the background saying that they paid for the hall and the management of Westin Hotel at Irvine, Texas, waited till the event started, to invite the police to shut it down.

A source who sent the video wrote;
“This is an embarrassing situation for the people of Mbaise and Nigeria as whole, the manger of Westin hotel Irving Texas just shut down an Mabise convention while at the event.
This is absolutely unacceptable and an infringement on our rights, this is somewhat a racial discrimination.
Mbaise people are angry , after paying a whopping sum of $95,000 (69 million naira ) to these venue owners and are being bundled out just like that for reasons that could have been managed ( that we exceeded the capacity with few people) .
