Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola gets Federal Board Appointment.
The Former Governor of Osun State and a Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola has been appointed as the Chairman of the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) in Abuja.
The Appointment according to the release from the Office of the Presidency takes immediate effect.
Oyinlola prior to his appointment has served in various capacity for the APC and his recent appointment, according to his supporters this appointment is long over due.
His appointment has stirred jubilations among his teeming supporters across the state as many APC faithfuls await further appointments among the Osun based politicians in no distant time.
Prince Oyinlola was once a governor in Lagos State under the military administration of General Sani Abacha.
He was also a civilian governor of Osun State under the Peoples Democratic Party before he was ousted by Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola in the Election Petitions Tribunal.
He however decamped from PDP to APC to support Ogbeni Aregbesola in his second term bid in 2014.
