The Spokesman of the State Police Command, Mansir Hassan, confirmed this to newsmen.
He said that the hoodlums broke into the bank during which they carted away some valuables and also destroyed some vehicles parked within the bank premises.
Hassan, an Assistant Superintendent of Police, also debunked rumours that a police armoured personnel carrier was snatched by the violent protesters at Tudun Wada.
According to him, the driver of the armoured vehicle succeeded in manoeuvring the crowd of protesters who climbed on top of the vehicle since it was carrying live ammunition and couldn’t have used maximum force against the crowd.
The Police also confirmed the burning down of a security patrol vehicle belonging to the Kaduna State Vigilance Service at Rigasa in the Igabi Local Government Area as well as the razing of the Zaria office of the Kaduna State Traffic Law Enforcement Agency (KASTLEA) by hoodlums.

This destruction is no solution to the spate of current hungry predicament, believing the looters initially are idle hands capitalizing on the protest scenario to loot, maim and kill or to be be kill, so the government image will be dented. If these truants had experience the results of the #EndSars years ago they wouldn’t have tried these.
Now could the dead among them be revived in witnessing the dividend of democracy in no distant Future? Alas, they’re gone!!!
Long Live Federal Republic of Nigeria.
