The National leader and Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, posted a thtowback video showing how he increased the minimum wage for workers during his tenure as governor of Lagos State on his verified Twitter handle.
In the video posted on Thursday, September 15, 2022, Tinubu said he was proud of the workers because they have demonstrated to the entire country and community that there is dignity in labour.
He added that some of the workers grudgingly stated the fact that the minimum wage that they were being paid wasn’t adequate.
The former governor of Lagos State then increased the minimum wage to four thousand naira per month. The workers were seen hailing Tinubu and jubilating in the video.

The video which has generated a lot of reactions on social media. While some praised Tinubu for his good track record, others said he should tell Nigerians what he has for them now.
