My name is Celine. Seven years ago, I was in a relationship with Fabien, a man I met when he was at his lowest point…unemployed and living with his ex-brother-in-law. I had just finished my nurse training in Douala, and I found a job in London.

At first, I wanted to work in Cameroon because my brother had a clinic in Douala. However, my family didn’t want Fabien coming around since he had no money. So, I decided to take that job to save us and be independent.

I went there and never even drank a simple Coke with my little salary of 400,000 francs. I worked like a d0g until, after six months, I paid to bring Fabien over to London. Earning a living was not easy; we had to work hard together. Finally, five years later, we got our papers

In a year, we went back home for the dowry, then returned to work hard to save money to buy a house. But ever since we came back from Cameroon, he became distant. He changed completely, started talking to me very b@dly.

One day, on a whim, he said he wanted to go back to Cameroon and build our house there, even when we were not financially ready. This was not like him at all. I began to suspect him. That’s when I discovered that while I was gone working in london, he had met another girl and was still in contact with her.

He was making plans with her! The savings I thought were safe, he was sending to her. The date for their dowry and marriage was already set. So, I decided to take action too! I thought, why should he have all the fun? I would fight back with the same w£apons he used.

That’s how I began seeing his best friend back home in Cameroon the very man who told me everything about Fabien’s secret. I had only seen him twice in my life, but he approached me softly, and I didn’t say a word to Fabien.

They moved on, and so did I. Ma I had his plan figured out. The day he went back home for his dowry, I also took a flight the next day to Cameroon. My new guy was there, and since I couldn’t have a dowry again, we quietly prepared for my wedding.

Not a single call from him! All I got were WhatsApp voice messages telling me his friend lost his mother and that they were in mourning and there was no network.

I laughed. Then on Saturday, my guy told him he had diarrhea and couldn’t be there. Meanwhile, Fabien was at the town hall with the other girl while I was getting married at my brother’s place in Douala.

The next day, I was the first to post our wedding photo on Facebook. Two seconds later, he called me over 100 times! He even went to my husband’s place looking for us.

I took my flight to Yaoundé, packed my things, and moved on. Not even nine days later, he had a strol0ke.

Today, he is still handic@pped in one hand, and his marriage is over, while we are happily married with three kids. I can tell you, I am very happy.

I never cheated on Fabien, not a single time, but he tried to trap me. Even my husband knows what I am capable of, and we live peacefully.

We have bought our house now, and Fabien lives in a home for dis@bled adults. They say the only word that comes out of his mouth is that women are w!cked.
