WATCH OUT FOR “Health Palaver” FROM THE STABLE OF ‘THE HONOURABLES’.
A prominent member of the House of Representatives representing Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency in Osun State, Chief Wole Oke has called out the State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke for neglecting his constituency.
Oke in a viral message on Social Media monitored by SOJ WORLDWIDE warned the governor of the consequences of neglecting his area.
He added that other different administrations in the State in the past did laudable developments in his area except Adeleke who has done little to nothing except 3.5 kilometres after two years in office.
“Ijesa North People are not stupid.
We voted Chief Bisi Akande even though I wasn’t a Member of AD he fixed our roads through Nigerian Army Company Ede .
We voted our Governor Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola (PDP) He established Osun State University and gave us a Campus in Ipetu Ijesa.

President Yaradua and President Goodluck Jonathan respectively approved Armed Forces Games Village, Armed Forces Physical Education Institute Institute in Esa Oke (yet to be completed) and Air Safety Training Institute Ipetu Ijesa.
Gov Rauf Aregbesola established Bola Ige Mec Institute in Esa Oke , appointed Esa Oke son as a Member of the Board Governing Council ditto Gov Gboyega Oyetola.
Despite I been a Member of House of Rep which I laboured and fought for in competitive elections and at various Courts they appointed Commissioners and SAs , LG Chairmen / LG Secretaries from Esa Oke.
Fast forwarded, I and other Patriotic Leaders and Members laboured to install a Government and after two years what I can point to from my Governor HE Sen Nurudeen Jackson Ademola Adeleke in my Constituency (Obokun& Oriade) is 1.5klm road in Obokun and Oriade LG respectfully.
I asked that as a convention and practice that an Indigene of Esa Oke be appointed as Council Member of OSCOTECH to facilitate a smooth relationship between The Institution and our Community, I was ignored.
Ipetu Ijesa with 54 Villages has over 10,000 votes in her kitty, without Ipetu Ijesa votes nobody can win any election. No son or daughter of that community hold any prominent position in our Government yet some of our Members want me to keep quiet.
For our upcoming young upcoming
politicians who are playing eye service to HE Gov Ademola Adeleke, I pity you.
Ijesa North people will speak and they will speak louder at the appropriate time . You don’t know them as much as I do . You all met me here HE Gov Ademola Adeleke has enough time before it’s too late to adjust and do the needful.
You have a son of the soil as your Party Chairman who understands Ijesa land in person of Elder Sunday Bisi. Please listen to him
I have won elections 5 times through the support of my people . It will be curse for me to keep quiet.
I told my younger Brother IBK Ibukun Fadipe Chairman SUBEB some of these things nothing happened. Ditto COS and SSG Teslim Igbalaye nothing happened.
I won’t keep quiet . We must get what belong to us.”
But in reaction to the outbursts of Hon. (Chief) Wole Oke debunked all the allegations made against Adeleke administration.
“We, the Commissioners from Ijesa North Federal Constituency, wish to address the recent claims made by Hon. Wole Oke regarding Governor Ademola Adeleke’s administration and its impact on our constituency. It is imperative to set the record straight and highlight the substantial progress achieved under the leadership of Governor Adeleke.
“As founding members and committed stakeholders of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), we are deeply concerned about the misrepresentation of facts by Hon. Wole Oke, who has represented Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency since 2003.
“It is disheartening and reprehensible to see a long-serving representative of our people spread misinformation that could potentially mislead our constituents,”, the Commissioners stated.
Highlighting what the present administration has done in Ijesa North, the statement, stated that “Under Governor Ademola Adeleke’s administration, Ijesa North Federal Constituency has witnessed significant strides in political inclusivity and infrastructural development.”
It added, “For the first time in the history of Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency, three commissioners have been appointed from the area, additionally, the Governor has appointed three Special Advisers, over 10 Special Assistants, two Board Chairmen and numerous board members in various government agencies.
“Ongoing construction of 1.5 KM of roads in each local government of Ijesa North, nearing completion. Full rehabilitation and renovation of 13 Primary Health Centers in Oriade and Obokun.
“Construction of classrooms in more than 8 schools across Oriade/Obokun.Installation of motorized deep wells in several schools.
“This week, Governor Adeleke will launch the Imole Agropreneur model project at Imesi Ile, making Ijesha North the agricultural hub of the state.
“All 22 wards in Ijesa North Federal Constituency have significantly benefited from the Ward-Based Cooperatives initiative launched by this administration.
These achievements, accomplished in less than two years, demonstrate Governor Adeleke’s commitment to the development of Ijesa North.”
The statement urged Oke to refrain from making statements that could mislead the constituents and not drag Ijesa North into his political agenda.
“We urge Hon. Wole Oke to refrain from actions and statements that could potentially mislead our constituents and disrupt the unity of purpose needed for further progress. Our focus must remain on collaborative efforts to enhance the growth and development of our constituency.
“We call on Honourable Oke not to drag Ijesha North into his political agenda,” the statement added.
