That the former honourable member of the House of Representatives, Hon Rotimi Makinde is staging a comeback is not new.
What is new is, what is he coming back to do? Given his past achievements at the Lower Chamber of the National Assembly, it is imperative for him to complete all his uncompleted motions becoming bills. Makinde has seen it all having been a student of politics under the tutelage of the Osun State Governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

He is more than capable to make a major difference to make things happen in Ife Federal Constituency.
It would be a misdemeanor if this vocal man who has spent all his life defending the rights of the oppressed since his school days is not given this onerous assignment. Ife Federal Constituency needed a vibrant young and energetic man like Makinde to speak out where it mattered most to rescue his people from the shackles of lack and poverty.
The founder of Oodua FM (109.9fm), Ile-Ife, Makinde, is a grassroot mobilizer who has spent major part of his life empowering the youths, women and the elderly in his constituency.

He has helped to reduce unemployment in his locality by sitting his investments in these areas instead of choosing Lagos or Ogun State where he would generate more income on his investments.
His passion for the downtrodden is unparalleled. He is for the low, high and mighty in the society. In a nutshell, Makinde is a man of the people. Little wonder, a former leader of NADECO had this to say about him, “” Hon Rotimi Makinde was there for a short time and he did proved his mettle.
He deserved second chance. I just hope the Ifes will see this promising young man as a worthy ambassador.” – General Alani Akinrinade. General Akinrinade (Rtd) has said it all it is left for his party, APC and the electorates to do the needful by returning Makinde.
