INEC on Sunday declared the election inconclusive as a result of some cancelled votes which were more than the difference of 353 PDP had over APC.

Although Makinde didn’t dwell much over the INEC declaration because according to him he has taken it in good faith. He has taken it behind him.

In his statement made available to SOJWORLD.COM he said, “…Ife land has the capacity to outscore its opponent..”

“VOICE OF THE PEOPLE IS THE VOICE OF GOD.

” We have enough reasons to suspect those figures announced for PDP in Ife land and the capacity to outscore them in the coming outstanding election….

Meanwhile, we have absolute confidence that our party have the best candidate to move this state forward….

We have since embarked in our usual door to door campaign to remind our people never to allow undue monetary influence. Just as evidenced in last Saturday’s election to mislead them into monumental retrogression ….

Our people believed in our integrity, experience and also, our capacity.

Therefore, it is going to be landmark victory for us in those outstanding polling booths in Ife-South, Ife-North and Osun State in general…

NONE OF HIS WORDS SHALL GO UNFULFILLED…..”Makinde concluded.
