I was in London in 2007 when I received a call from the lawyer looking after my property in Ilorin that Bukola Saraki, through his Commissioner for Works summoned them to his office to know how we built houses on government land.

Bukola went after us because he thought his predecessor commandeered the land like he did ile arugbo to his family.
Unfortunately, the land belonged to the Idiagbon family. It was Gov Lawal who picked three lawyers to dispose of the land on behalf of Kunle when some family member started to encroach the land.
The commissioner reported back to Bukola when the lawyers told him that the land belonged to late Gen Idiagbon. Did Bukola back off when he knew that the belonged to the late General? Never.
He summoned Kunle but the true son of his father told the commissioner his piece of mind.
Yoruba saying: Oto lowo oto ni iyi. Kunle might not be a billionaire or hold political office but he still maintains his late father dignity.
If it wasn’t for him Bukola Saraki could have got the land from me and others as he did in other areas. He met his match in Kunle.
Now, how do I have respect or sympathy for a rogue who went after Admiral Lawal and Gen Adisa interest in ilorin after their death?

How do I like an individual like Bukola who believed everyone should be subservient to him?
How do I like an arrogant idiot like Bukola who have no respect for human dignity?
Like the normal saying: “every day for the thief one day for the owner.”
The owners are getting their properties back and some people are having sympathy for him.
I wished the Gov, through the Federal government will get the three properties he has in borough of Chelsea and Kensington.
