Another Nollywood actress simply known as Odunuga Adenike popularly known as ADENIKE IRAWO has lent her voice to the controversies within the Yoruba Nollywood industry over the alleged scandal involving Lanrewaju Omiyinka popularly known as Baba Ijesha and a 14-year-old underaged girl.

Adenike questioned Laide Bakare and Toyosi Bakare on why as mothers they could not have the feeling of motherhood.
“Do you know the reason why I am talking today? It is because of Toyosi Adesanya. I am really disappointed, Toyosi Adesanya, we are talking about the life of a child that is being defiled. A child that was defiled at the age of seven years. All we can hear from you is that it is through acting that we eat and take care of our financial obligations, let us cooperate. We are talking about a whole child, you are talking about cooperation, what kind of cooperation are you talking about?

Are you saying we should aid and abet a crime? Because I dont just understand. Are you a mother at all? You dont even care about the pains that the child has gone through. You dont even care about the trauma that the child has passed through!”
“Do you know that her mother (Princess) is a public figure who is known everywhere? Do you know the phycological and emotional trauma she is going through right now?”

“Your own is not as painful as that of Laide Bakare. Laide Bakare! Why don’t you listen to the full story before joining Toyosi Adesanya? You are saying, ” My friend was put to shame and you are saying you are not ashamed.” The law will take its course on the offender for penalty.
“The fact that we are in the same Nollywood industry doesnt mean we should celebrate one of us who committed an offence. People are looking at us as their role models.”

“Even when you were crying in the video you didn’t hit nail on the head. Who are you afraid of? Are you not a mother? What are you supposed to do as a mother? We are supposed to protect our children, not only our children but any child around us.”
