A businessman and politician simply known as Kunle Gold (K-Gold) was alleged to have almost crushed some policemen at a Checkpoint with over speed at Ota Efun area of Osogbo in Osun State on Wednesday night.

According to our reliable source who pleaded anonymity, K-Gold who was over speeding with an unnumbered Lexus Jeep made attempt to crush the policemen at the checkpoint,
“This man saw Police check point at Ota-Efun and he made attempt to kill Police Men on the road with the unregistered Lexus jeep.. This night”

“After that he started to insult the police officers including the most senior Asp. Adepoju Joshua attached to OKE-ODO DIVISION, OTA-EFUN on duty there tonight (Wednesday). When this man saw the intervention of some other superior officers on the matter he drove off through ONE WAY TRAFFIC AGAINST THOSE THAT HE WANTED TO CRUSH INITIALLY AGAIN.”, the source said.
All efforts to get K-Gold to speak to us on the incident proved abortive as at the time of filing this report.
