Senator Ojudu: Senator Babafemi Ojudu has announced his withdrawal from the Ekiti State governorship race.

The Special Adviser on Politics to President Muhammadu Buhari, Senator Babafemi Ojudu, ‎ He announced his withdrawal at a press briefing in Ado Ekiti on Thursday.
Ojudu said he withdrew from the race in the interest of the party due to the growing tension among aspirants in the primary.

Senator Ojudu explained that he took the decision for the sake of peace in the state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
There was a speculation that 20 other aspirants have also stepped down for Segun Oni in the battle for the soul of Ekiti.
