Police to move Sen Dino Melaye today on a fresh trump up charges.
Our attention has been brought to the concluded plans by men of Nigerian police to move the Chairman Senate C’ttee on FCT and Senator representing Kogi West, Otunba Dino Melaye to Lokoja tomorrow on a stretcher against medical advice.

Sen Dino Melaye who have been on treatment since he was brutally maltreated by the police on the 23rd of April, 2018.
He was taken to court today against medical advice from National hospital, Abuja where he is undergoing care and was granted bail but police threw due process, rule of law and his fundamental right away and forcefully re-arrested him. He’s currently at the police force headquarters, Abuja.
From reliable information and from all , the Presidency, police have concluded arrangements for tomorrow to move Melaye from abuja to lokoja for what they called fresh charges bothering on obstruction of justice and alleged sponsor of prison break in Lokoja.

This is happening without any recourse to due process and rule of law under a democratic system.
We therefore, cry out to Nigerians and international communities to come the rescue of Sen Dino Melaye as he’s currently not fit medically based on the medical report obtained and released by the National Hospital, Abuja.
This lawlessness by the enforcers of our law must be heavily resisted, condemned, disallowed and disbanded.
Senator Dino Melaye’s life is no doubt, in serious danger. We don’t know what may happen to him within the next 24 hours as the plans to desperately move him get him ducked and remanded in Koto Karfe prison tomorrow is already perfected.
Experience shows that while Melayes was been taken away from SARS office on the 23rd April, SARS operatives who were with him in the bus gassed him twice knowing fully that he’s asthmatic. This is simply an attempt to murder him unjustly for no just cause
This is unacceptable and unjust in a democratic society.

Our concerns remains that Sen Dino Melaye is a law abiding Nigerian and a serving senator of the FRN, who is ready to submit himself at all times for whatever charges against him, but the rule of law and his constitutional rights as a citizen must be observed, accorded and respected as a presumed innocent Nigerian.
Finally, by tomorrow, police in Abuja will be taking Sen Dino Melaye to Lokoja for fresh charges. On their way to Lokoja, he may be extra- judicially murdered.
