Relatives of the missing passengers of the Abuja-bound 10- passenger bus were full of tensions and anxieties over their missing subjects who left Akoko in Ondo State for Abuja since seven days ago but are yet to get to their destinations.

Members of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) are equally worried about their driver and the passenger bus.
It was observed that all the 10 passengers, including the driver, were kidnapped and led into the bush near Obajana in Kogi state.
The owner of the vehicle, who resides at Ajowa-Akoko disclosed that among the passengers was a student of Law School, Abuja who had already paid a ransom of N400,000 for his release.

An eye witness, Abdulganiyu Hakeem, said no fewer than 30 passengers from other commercial vehicles were also kidnapped the same time last week
The kidnappers were said to be demanding N200,000 for the vehicle driver and N100,000 for the remaining passengers totalling N1m to be paid before they regain their freedom.
The families of the abducted passengers were said to be confused about the safety of their people.
Police Area Commander for Akoko,Razak Rauf could not be reached for reaction on the incident.
