Sunday, November 24, 2019, will forever be a memorable day in the life of Alhaja Monsurat Gbajumo Asikomitito at the album launch of IGBIYANJU at the Akinorun Grammar School in Ikirun.
Guests thronged the venue of the event from different parts of the country which include; broadcast media, Nollywood artists, musicians, business tycoons and others from Ikirun where she started her music career. They all applauded her dexterity in sonorous songs she rendered at the event.
The event centre was filled to the brim while those outside the big hall outnumbered those in.
Alhaja Asikomitito received Royal Blessings from Kabiyesi, Akirun of Ikirunland, HRM Oba Rauf Olayiwola Olawale who rained prayers on her and her Promoter, the Elemo Aga of Ikirunland, Chief Almaroof Bamidele Onifade who was also the Chairman of the day for projecting the image of Ikirunland anywhere he goes.
When it was his time to give a keynote address, Chief Onifade who is also the MD/CEO of DELONIFERA TV due for launch in December said he discovered Alhaja Asikomitito some years back at an annual Ileya Festival event where she was performing and the talents inherent in her to be useful to the society and beneficial to her career in the nearest future.
He added that although he has no money to flaunt around for the celebrant, the assistance he can offer is to use his resources to assist her in making her career grow beyond the shores of Nigeria,
It was at this juncture Chief Onifade gave the best news of the year to Alhaja Asikomitito with a gift of a brand new Toyota Camry to welcome her new album, IGBIYANJU. The gift threw the entire hall into wild jubilation while the celebrant welcomes the gift with a cry of joy in her eyes.
Elemo Aga told all those who cared to listen that he is ready to raise and promote talented youths who have talents in music, theatre, others with prove of practical evidence. He advised them to come forward for auditioning.
At the event are, Akirun of Ikirunland, HRM Oba Rauf Olayiwola Olawale with other Obas in the area, Chief Bamidele Onifade, Fuji Stars like Taye Currency, Sabaika, Nollywood Star, Kunle Afod, SOJ WORLDWIDE ONLINE NEWS was represented by its Editor-in-Chief, Adesoji Omosebi, and a host of other important dignitaries across the country and diaspora.
