But for the goal keeper Ajiboye, the Sudanese team would have qualified for the final of the CHAN finals. The goal keeper saved two scoring chances from the Sudenese side in the second half.

It was a tension soaked match with the referee given each player on both sides a red card.

The Super Eagle lost a player to a red card from a no-nonsense referee in the early second half while a red card was also given to a Sudenese defender about seven minutes into the end of second half.

Gabriel Okechukwe early goal in the 16tg minutes into the first half against Sudan gave the Super Eagles of Nigeria the ticket to the finals against Moroco on Sunday, 8pm Nigerian time.

The Sudanese national team will slug it out in the semi-final on Saturday against Libyan national team having lost to the host team Moroco by 3-1. The Nigerian time for the semi-finals is also 8pm

It was a hard fight for the Nigerian home based team to beat the never-say-tired Sudanese national team.

Nigerians are hopeful that the home based Super Eagles will beat the host country, Morocco national team. But it is going to be a hard nut to crack for our national team bearing in mind the quality players from the host country displayed.
