Tanker filled with fuel on fire, causes multiple accidents in Lagos

A tanker filled with fuel had an accident and caught fire along Oshodi-Mile 2 Expressway in front of Lacassera office on Thursday morning at about 1.00am.

An eyewitness account said the accident occurred when a truck filled with fuel had an accident as a result of potholes on 10-lane-Expressway.

The truck caught fire immediately after the accident affecting five other trucks including a Lacassera truck that had just left their office for distributions. 

No life was lost but the driver of the Lacassera truck and his boys sustained injuries and were rushed to the nearby hospital. 

The road was cordoned off to motorists as a result of the accident thereby making Lagosians suffer untold hardships.
