Fixing the country should start with credible and transparent elections. All political institutions must ensure that job vacancies must be advertised to ensure that the best candidates are chosen. Accumulation of debt must stop for the next four years, employment opportunities must be created as the fundamental pillar to curbing poverty and inequality, the judiciary should introduce suspended sentences to reduce the number of innocent inmates, legislative salaries at all levels must be reversed to what the Salaries and wages commission approves and the bogus constituency allowance scrapped. NYSC program has to be abolished to save costs. Political office holders have to reduce their aides dramatically, overseas trips must be suspended for non critical services, moribund Industries has to be rehabilitated to create jobs. Seventy percent of the aircraft’s in the presidential fleet have to be released by the presidency to create national carrier to reduce costs for the aircraft’s maintenance. No public holiday is to be extended beyond the actual date of the holidays.
