UPDATE: Ondo House of Assembly in disarray after impeachment of Speaker, Deputy Speaker – SEE WHAT HAPPENS

NURTW:  The Ondo State House of Assembly in Akure went into further troubles on Friday after the sack of the Speaker and the Deputy Speaker, Bamidele Oloyeloogun, Iroju Ogundeji respectively.

NURTW  Aftermath of the impeachment was the invasion of the House of Assembly by the members of the Ondo State Chapter of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, who raided it and sent all members and staff out of the assembly.

BREAKING: Trouble in Ondo House of Assembly as Speaker, Deputy impeached

The development occurred shortly after the speaker of the House, Mr. Bamidele Oloyeloogun and his deputy, Mr. Iroju Ogundeji were impeached by the 18 members of the House.

The duo were replaced by Mr. Olamide George and Mr. Abimbola Fajolu as speaker and deputy speaker respectively.

It is not immediately known on whose side the NURTW members were supporting.
