ABIOLA AND THE PRESIDENT MORAL BURDEN
We wanted Chief Moshood Kashimawo Olawale , M.K.O, Abiola to be our President. MKO was my boss when l worked in his Concord Press of Nigeria where he had assembled some of the best journalists in Nigeria under one roof.
On June 12, 1993, I joined millions of Nigerians to vote for him.

Thirty years later, one of the young men and women who joined Abiola in the historic struggle to retrieve his mandate is now the President of the Republic. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has an historic opportunity and a moral duty to fulfill the dreams of Abiola who promised to end poverty in Nigeria. His slogan was Farewell to Poverty. It is time to take action.
We thank God that our President came equipped for the job after years of struggle and preparation.
He is the first member of the June 12 struggle that would become our President. Through Tinubu, it is victory at last for Abiola!
