Abuja based music artiste Eche Abraham aka Soundboi, has accused personnel of the Special Weapons and Tactics Team (SWAT) of abduction and assault.

He alleged that the cops also extorted N100,000 from him. The artiste narrated that he was travelling to Kogi state for an event on Sunday when the bus conveying him was stopped by the security men at the Federal College of Education, Okene Town and immediately, he was ordered to come down and instructed the bus driver to continue with his journey.
He said he was then ordered into their hilux vehicle which has no plate number, he said he refused because he did not commit any offence,one of the security man slapped him and forced him inside the vehicle.
He also narrated that “They collected my phone and took me to an isolated area which they saw my bitcoin wallet and threatened to take me to their Headquarters if I did not give them money.

He further alleged that the policemen demanded N100,000 to free him adding that he had only N38,000 in his account.
Abraham said he contacted the guy who invited him for a birthday party at Kogi state to narrate what happened and he sent #20,000 to add to what he had but they insisted that they are collecting #100,000 last.
He said his phone was with the police man and he was only allowed to call those who will add to the money to complete their demand.
“They took me to the bush after Tafari Hotel towards Kabba. It was all bushy and there was an unfinished filling station there too. They did a video of me and forcefully told me to say words I never wanted to say like confessing that am a fraudster.
I had no option,it was just me an them in the middle of a silent place in the bushes of Kabba Road so I had to do what they wanted” He explained.
Afterwards, he claimed that he was taken to a point of sale shop for withdrawal. The first one had no money up to #100,000 so we left there and they took me to Inorere junction where a POS shop was located and I made a withdrawal of N100,000 with charges of N1,000 he added.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Williams Aya said the Fct Commissioner Of police, Sunday Babajide had ordered an investigation on the incident and bring the culprits to book.
