THE Union of Ikale Indigenes (UOII) on Thursday, December 28, 2024 writes the new Governor of Ondo State, Orimisan Lucky Aiyedatiwa.

 

Ikale indigenes formed the largest population in the Ondo South Senatorial District of the State.

 

In a Press Release signed by the General Secretary, Prof Kule Olatumile and the President, Lord Isaac Omowole Omogoroye made available to SOJ WORLDWIDE, the union encouraged the new Governor to follow the legacy of the immediate past Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu with government of inclusiveness and transparency.

 

It is with a heavy heart that we extend our congratulations on your new role as the substantive Governor of Ondo State. The circumstances that have led to your elevation are indeed somber, marking the passing of Governor Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN, a figure who has left an indelible mark on the state.
