The former Lagos State governor and National Leader of APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu the former National Interim Chairman of APC, Chief Bisi Akande were at the Aso Rock after the release of the explosive letter from Chief Obasanjo to President Buhari.
But in his reaction to the visit, Asiwaju Tinubu said the visit was a normal visit that had been scheduled before Chief Obasanjo released his press statement to the public.

The duo, however, left the presidential villa without speaking to State House Correspondents.
In a terse statement, Tinubu’s spokesman, Tunde Rahman, explained that the visit to Buhari was scheduled last week.
“President Buhari periodically schedules talks with Asiwaju Tinubu and Baba Akande, as he does with other Nigerians and APC figures, to discuss substantive issues pertaining to the governance of the country and matters concerning the partyâ€, it said.
“This visit was one such meeting. As such, the meeting had nothing to do with the statement of former President Obasanjo.

“It is totally unconnected. At the time of the meeting, Asiwaju Tinubu and Baba Akande were even unaware that President Obasanjo had released his statement.â€
The APC chieftains arrived the villa at 3:50pm and left at about 5:00pm.
The meeting held a few hours after former President Olusegun Obasanjo advised Buhari not to run in 2019.
