SOJ WORLDWIDE, http://www.sojworldnews.com published the news of ambush of travellers on Saturday, May 22, 2021 evening involving a branded bus belonging to the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) and a car along Akure-Ilesha-Ife Highway.
The vehicles were left on the Highway where gunmen suspected to be Fulani Herdsmen ambushed the travellers.
The narrator in the video published said the drivers of the two vehicles and six other people were Kidnapped but the police reacted to our story and came up with their findings in a Press Release SOJ WORLDWIDE received on Sunday morning signed by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Mrs Yemisi Opalola,

“It is true that people that were suspected to be Bandits came out of the bush and attempted robbing the motorists along Akure/Ilesha road, by Iwaraja on 22/05/2021 at about 1800 hours. But for the quick intervention of the Police, JTF and other local security outfits, they couldn’t rob or kidnap anyone.
The owners of those vehicles later came out and carried the vehicles away. The DPO Ijebu Jesha really tried in that operation as the witnesses and the DPO Ipetu-Ijesha that came to the road also told me.
