Farmers in Ago-Iwoye Farm Settlement in Ago-Iwoye area of Ogun State have taken their destinies into their hands when government refused to heed to their hues and cries to send Fulanis Herdsmen with their cattles away from their land.

Their spokesman said,

“We are fed up with the Fulanis, we decided to push them out of our land by taking our destiny into our hands and pursue them out of the boundary to Ilisan.  Wherever they go from there we don’t care.”

“Farmers livelihood is in danger and we have to take our destinies into our hands.  We are not killing the Fulanis, we are not killing their cattles, we just want to send them out of our settlement.”

“Today na today,  you cannot turn this country to a cow country.  We are human beings, it is not only cow meat we are going to eat, if they refused to give us meat we will import it. After all, we buy with our money not on credit.
