Nigeria’s popular Hip-Hop artist, David Adeleke  popularly known as Davido has cried bitterly over the death of his bosom friend simply known as Ahmed aka King Jhaffi whom he lost on April 6, 2020.

Davido announced the bad news on his Instagram Page.

In a post shared on his page, the singer wished Ahmed a peaceful rest. He shared the post with a video of a time he was hanging out with Ahmed before his untimely death.

The singer’s brother, Adewale, who was also a friend of the deceased took to his Instagram page to mourn him as well. He also wished him a peaceful rest and noted that he cannot believe that he is gone.

In another post shared on Davido’s Instagram story, the singer was seen crying. The caption of the picture questioned Ahmed, asking why.

It was gathered that the singer’s friend passed away on Monday, April 6. The cause of his death has not been disclosed.

The video showed Davido crying bitterly few seconds into the eight minute duration. He was also seen having conversation with his late friend to show how close they were before death separated them
