Group of 20 South African teenagers have built an aeroplane that can fly from Cape Town to Cairo. The plane was built with the support of an NGO, U-Dream Global.
AIRPLANE: “It was said, the plane won’t fly, it’s just a model…because we are living in a society that was stereotypical especially when it comes to teenagers a lot of people were actually shocked like: What are they doing? This was just a dream. It was going to fail.”

“It took us ten days to build this plane. It was very difficult because you had to read from engineering manual. And you need to have a 3D=type of brain to be able to see what you are doing.”
“Building this airplane was not an easy task at all. It came with a lot of challenges, mostly because it was the first time we were holding some of their tools we were using to build the aeroplane.”
