THE Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke has reassured the residents of the State that the N100 billions infrastructural projects which includes, five flyovers, dualization of roads in the State will be delivered in one year as promised.

 

 

 

The Governor was represented by his Commissioner of Information and Strategy, Oluomo Kolapo Alimi to brief the Press on the achievements of the administration to mark the one year anniversary.

 

 

When asked that the Governor promised immediate take-off of the project and nothing has been seen on ground.

Alimi said the government is already working on the projects by visiting the proposed sites to meet with the stakeholders to avoid litigation on the part of properties that will go for the projects.

 

 

 

He said his team went to Timi of Ede’s Palace along with people from the Ministry of Works, Environment and the contractors to sensitize and to consult with the people. He added that the issue of compensation is there because houses will be affected.

 

 

 

He said when the governor promised 12 months they have already factored-in underground work to have smooth ride.

The Commissioner said the Adeleke administration rehabilitated 90 kilometers of roads in the past one year, introduction of buses to ease the pains of residents in Osun among other notable achievements in the area of health and worker’s welfares.
