Adeagbo Taiwo is a prominent indigene of Igangan in the Ibarapa North Local Government Area of Oyo State, he is also one of the leaders of farmers in the area.

In this interview with the Press, he indicted the politicians, Yoruba leaders, Seriki Fulani, Abdul-Kadir Saliu for complicit in the crimes going on in the area.
He alleged that the Seriki Fulani would bring in cattle rearers from another Country, kill them and sold their cows. He said things have gone beyond control before Governor Seyi Makinde assumed office.
“If you planted any crops in your farms, cows would devour it and you cannot talk. The Fulanis would be bragging that, “From here to Sokoto we are the owners of the land, do you have any land? It was our father Uthma-Dan-Fodio that owned the land in Nigeria.”
“Our forefathers didn’t do well, they ought to have conquered this land, we would take it by force. How many are you?”
“I always inform all the people in authority, nothing would be done.”
“They used AK-47 for their business unhindered, the reason is that Ibarapa Central, Ibarapa North and Igangan are very close to the border, it is very easy to smuggle guns in but as they were bringing ammunition’s, I always inform our Local Government Chairmen but no action was taken.”

“I sent my petitions to Radio Nigeria, the Police cannot order their arrests because they have been bribed.”
“If Seriki Fulani wants to use human blood he will tell his subjects to go and bring people and I told him “Saliu, this evil you are perpetrating will backfire one day’, he would tell me that he invited me but I remained adamant.
“He said he would build house for me, ‘whatever you want we would do it for you. We can contribute two cows each for you, we will buy cars for you.”
“I told him if some powerful people are behind you and their heads are not correct, my own head is correct. You are killing my people and you want to give me part of the blood money!”
Adeagbo gave some instances of the atrocities committed by the Fulanis in Igangan. He said Seriki Fulani warned any police that still needs his life should not touch any of the cases brought before it.
